About the role
The surgical practice is seeking a fulltime ARMDS RVT registered candidate specializing in vascular ultrasound.
Responsibilities
- Perform carotid dopplers
- Segmental pressures
- Bypass graft surveillance examinations
- Upper and lower extremity venous studies
- Support a growing and thriving Vein Center
- Support two outreach clinics
Requirements
- Two years of practice or hospital vascular/ultrasound experience required.
- Three years of experience as Vascular Technologist with at least one year in a hospital setting preferred.
Qualifications
- Education: Degree in Sonography/Vascular Technology from an accredited school required.
- License/Certifications: RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist), RDMS (Registers Diagnostic Medical Sonographer), or RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) required. ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical sonographers) Certified or eligible.
- RVT must be obtained within one year of full-time employment or within two years of part-time employment.
- Current BLS Certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
