Vascular Ultrasound Technologist

About the role

Exciting surgical practice with IAC accredited vascular laboratory is seeking a fulltime ARMDS RVT registered candidate specializing in vascular ultrasound.

Responsibilities

• Perform carotid dopplers
• Segmental pressures
• Bypass graft surveillance examinations
• Upper and lower extremity venous studies
• Support a growing and thriving Vein Center
• Support two outreach clinics

Requirements

• Two years of practice or hospital vascular/ultrasound experience required.
• Three years of experience as Vascular Technologist with at least one year in a hospital setting preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Sonography/Vascular Technology from an accredited school required.
• Graduation from an accredited Vascular Technology program with RVT credentials required.
• RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist), RDMS (Registers Diagnostic Medical Sonographer), or RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) required.
• ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical sonographers) Certified or eligible.
• RVT must be obtained within one year of full-time employment or within two years of part-time employment.
• Current BLS Certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
