Ultrasound Tech - Vascular

Duties

• Assists with precepting clinicians
• On-call availability from 5pm to 8am Monday through Friday, and 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday
• Does not require floating between units or block schedules
• Expected patient ratio is 8:1

Skills

• General ultrasound procedures
• Fetal ultrasound techniques
• OB and breast ultrasound expertise
• Transvaginal and vascular ultrasound skills
• Echocardiogram, adult echo, contrast echo, and echo stress treadmill experience
• Profficiency with GE and PACS equipment
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE
• Ability to perform transplant studies and procedures like paracentesis and ultrasound-guided biopsy/fine needle aspiration

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience
• Certifications required: ARDMS, ARDMS RVT, BLS, CCI, or RDCS
• Experience with Epic charting system required
• Patient care experience with neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
