Vascular Ultrasound Tech - 1.0 Day Shift - Henry Ford West Bloomfield
About the role
Under direct supervision, performs non-invasive vascular testing utilizing a variety of ultrasonic and plethysmographic equipment to obtain diagnostic images and blood flow data.
Responsibilities
- Performs non-invasive vascular testing using ultrasonic and plethysmographic equipment.
- Obtains diagnostic images and blood flow data for patient evaluations.
- Works in a vascular laboratory/diagnostic facility setting.
- Maintains compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
Requirements
- A minimum of one year experience working in a vascular laboratory/diagnostic facility is required.
- National Accreditation as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) is required. Students that have trained in the Vascular Lab can be hired but must become RVT within six months or their position will be eliminated.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a formal training program in vascular technology.
Skills
- Proficiency with ultrasonic and plethysmographic equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and colleagues.
