Vascular Tech, PRN

Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient and/or outpatient vascular ultrasound testing including various 2D / Doppler vascular imaging and physiologic testing.
• Provide complex technical care using ultrasound technology for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Provide all necessary documentation and preliminary exam findings.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited Vascular Sonography program
• Required or In Lieu of education, equivalent experience according to Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC).
• Work Experience: No experience required
• Preferred: 2 years related experience as a hospital inpatient or outpatient / ambulatory vascular sonographer.
• Licenses and Certifications: BCLS - Basic Life Support in accordance with the American Heart Association upon hire; Required and Current registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) with one of the following: RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist within 1 Year, RVS - Registered Vascular Sonographer, Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) with RVS certification within 1 Year.
