Overview
PRN Days Vascular Tech at Piedmont Athens Regional.
Responsibilities
- Perform inpatient and/or outpatient vascular ultrasound testing to include various 2D / Doppler vascular imaging and physiologic testing.
- Provide complex technical care with the use of ultrasound technology for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Provide all necessary documentation and preliminary exam findings.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited Vascular Sonography program or
- In lieu of education, equivalent experience according to Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC).
- Work Experience:
- No experience required.
- 2 years related experience as a hospital inpatient or outpatient / ambulatory vascular sonographer (Preferred).
- Licenses and Certifications:
- BCLS - Basic Life Support in accordance with the American Heart Association (Upon Hire Required).
- Current registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) with one of the following (within 1 Year Required):
- RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist
- RVS - Registered Vascular Sonographer Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) with RVS certification (within 1 Year Required).
