Vascular Surgery PCU - Clinical RN (Part-Time) → Part-Time Clinical RN

Role Overview: Provides comprehensive pre- and post-operative nursing care for patients undergoing vascular surgeries, including endoluminal repairs, open surgeries, and interventions for peripheral vascular disease. The nurse collaborates with the healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans, ensuring patient safety, education, and emotional support. Key responsibilities include: Assessing patient needs and monitoring physical, psychosocial, and emotional status using critical thinking and clinical expertise.Educating patients and families on disease management, medication, and post-treatment care.Participating in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and professional development activities.Using critical nursing skills, including arterial line monitoring and pacer wire management, with appropriate certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and Acute Care.Promoting patient-centered care and ensuring effective communication across care teams. Qualifications include an RN license, with a preferred Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience.
