About the Role
Holy Cross Medical Group has an excellent full-time opportunity for a Vascular Surgeon to join a well-established, single-specialty practice in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The team utilizes an Inpatient Hybrid room and Interventional Suites for the majority of procedures. The ideal candidate will contribute to the teaching of General Surgery Residents and be appointed volunteer faculty at the University of Miami.
Services Offered
- Arterial aneurysms, including the thoracic and abdominal aorta, and peripheral vessels
- Carotid artery disease for prevention of stroke
- Peripheral artery occlusive disease (PAD) causing exercise-related leg pain (claudication) or limb-threatening ischemia
- Mesenteric and visceral vascular diseases
- Hemodialysis access for patients with kidney failure
- Venous disorders, including varicose veins
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited vascular surgery residency/fellowship and ABS certification in vascular surgery
- Board certification through the American Board of Surgery with Certification of Special Qualification (CSQ) in vascular surgery—or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment
- Current Florida medical license or eligibility for licensure in Florida
Pay
- Starting compensation: $590,000
- Competitive 2-year guaranteed salary base, transitioning to a productivity model after two years
