Vascular Surgeon, Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor, Surgery, Vascular/Endovascular Surgery

Stony Brook Southampton Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Vascular Surgeon to join its surgical team. The role involves providing comprehensive vascular care, including advanced endovascular procedures, open surgical interventions, and inpatient/outpatient services.

About the role

This position includes teaching residents and fellows, participating in scholarly activity, and engaging in clinical research and trials. Tenure or non-tenure track; FLSA exempt. Start date as soon as possible. Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality vascular care, including advanced endovascular procedures and open surgical interventions
• Supervise and teach medical students, residents, and fellows
• Participate in clinical research, academic publications, and scholarly activity

Requirements

• MD/DO (or foreign equivalent)
• Eligibility for or license to practice in New York
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery
• Completion of an accredited vascular residency or fellowship
• Experience in clinical research and academic productivity

Qualifications

• Proven success in clinical research and trials (preferred)
• Experience supervising medical students, residents, or fellows (preferred)
