Essential Responsibilities

• Counsels and educates patients about vascular testing procedures and vascular disease processes.
• Conducts vascular testing using ultrasound equipment as per physician orders.
• Presents preliminary interpretations of vascular test results to the ordering physician and vascular specialist.
• Maintains accurate and compliant medical records.
• Attends relevant educational sessions and in-service training.
• Participates in regular meetings as needed.
• Maintains and tests the accuracy and safety of vascular lab equipment, reporting any malfunctions.

Qualifications

• Minimum RVT certification or eligibility to obtain within 12 months of hire.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• Completed Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 criminal background clearances.
• FBI fingerprint clearance certificate obtained.
