About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Vascular Technician at Essentia Health.
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of diagnostic vascular examinations in the vascular laboratory, patient care unit, or surgical setting for pediatric to geriatric adult patients.
- Provides measurement and image data to the interpreting physician.
- Performs vascular studies in patients of all ages.
- May also perform other vascular diagnostic testing or patient care duties as required by the vascular program.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited training program for vascular technology associate degree program with supervised clinical experience in vascular ultrasound.
- Current registration as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, OR Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
- New hire technologists must be registry eligible and become registered within 12 months of hire.
- Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license as verified through appropriate licensing agency.
- Must meet the driving requirements and criteria acceptable to Essentia Health's insurer.
Qualifications
