Vascular Interventional Radiology Technologist - VI Tech

About the role

BayCare Health System is seeking an Invasive Vascular Radiology Technologist to join their team at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, FL, St. Joseph's Main & Children's Hospital in Tampa, FL, St. Anthony's Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL, and Winter Haven Hospital in Winter Haven, FL.

Responsibilities

• Aids radiologists in all aspects of patient care during diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures.
• Operates and maintains diagnostic x-ray and ultrasound equipment in the performance of patient care.
• Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation, and other related duties as necessary.

Requirements

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT (Radiologic Technologists) - Must obtain Vascular Interventional (VI) Specialty certification within 12 months of employment
• Radiology – State of Florida Technical Diploma (Radiology) OR Associates Degree – Radiology
• 1 year Radiology experience; 1 year Vascular experience preferred
