Interventional Radiology Technologist

Minimum Required Experience:

• Completion of a formal education program in radiography accredited by a mechanism acceptable to ARRT.
• Minimum of 1 year as a radiology technologist.
• 6 months experience in IR/Cath lab/EP.

Preferred/Desired Experience:

• Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with Registry in Radiography ARRT (R).
• BLS Certification within 14 days of hire; New graduate will obtain required registry within 120 days as required.
• State license as required Registry in Vascular Interventional ARRT(VI).

Special Skills:

• Demonstrates a thorough understanding of Radiologic principles/theory.
• Utilizes the most appropriate technique and positioning for optimal procedures/treatments as demonstrated by procedure/treatment results.
• Demonstrates ability to receive and follow written and oral instructions.
• Demonstrates ability to plan and organize work.

Licensure:

• Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with Registry in Radiography ARRT (R).
