Interventional Radiology Technologist

About the role

The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist position at Doctors Medical Center of Modesto involves radiological care to patients of all ages, focusing on diagnosis and treatment of anatomical and physiologic disorders using ionizing radiation. Responsibilities include preparing exam rooms, equipment, supplies, and medications, patient education, and operating X-ray equipment and PACS.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam room, equipment, supplies, and medications for patient’s procedures
• Responsible for patient education
• Operate all X-ray equipment and PACS
• May be required to take call

Requirements

• One year experience preferred for additional modalities
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers
• Licensed and certified in Radiologic Technology by the State of California, Radiological Health Section, Department of Health
• Current ARRT certification
• Fluoroscopy permit within six months of employment

Qualifications

• Proven competency in additional modalities such as CT, MRI, or Interventional Radiology

Skills

Knowledge of conventional Radiology, ability to operate X-ray equipment and PACS, and proven competency in additional modalities.

$45.00 - $60.00 hourly
