Job Description
Supports the Organization’s mission, vision, core values and customer service philosophy. Adheres to the Organization’s Compliance Program, including following all regulatory and policy requirements.
- Aids physicians in performing a variety of interventional radiology procedures.
- Operates and maintains the quality control of radiological equipment in accordance with the Organization’s policies, procedures, and training.
- Manages inventory and supplies.
- Prepares and organizes supplies and equipment to prevent waste.
- Attends and participates in Governing Body meetings.
- Ensures effective communication with physicians.
- Trains and orientates new employees.
- Verifies CPT and ICD9 codes are correct for patient billing.
- Addresses physician concerns in areas of responsibility.
Success Profile
- Strong management skills.
- Prior direct patient care experience.
- Working knowledge of interventional equipment (including C-Arm and Ultrasound equipment).
- Experience with interventional procedures, using/ordering/maintaining required materials/supplies for each procedure.
- Knowledge and experience of sterile techniques.
- Successfully completed BLS certification.
- Proficient in the use of computers and related software such as Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
