Job Summary

As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will assist physicians with minimally invasive procedures and provide diagnostic aid by using fluoroscopic equipment to conduct scans on patients according to established practices and standards. In addition, you must prepare equipment, monitor inventory, maintain cleanliness of procedure room and work area, render patient care in a professional and courteous manner, explain all procedures to the patient, perform physical assessments, check IV’s, catheters, tubing, etc., assist the radiologist in administering medications and contrast agents intravenously, and maintain sterile technique during Interventional Radiology procedures. You are also responsible for real-time review of scans for technical accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Registered Radiologic Technologist with ARRT
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Ability to perform Interventional Procedures
  • Two years of experience as a Radiology Technologist
