Responsibilities
- Participates in the interview and selection process of new team members
- Administers periodic evaluations for new staff members
- Administers annual PEAC's/merit increases
- Sets priorities, plans for and addresses staffing needs, and coordinates work across other teams as needed
- Provides guidance, coaching, and feedback to team members
- Addresses performance issues and administers performance reviews
- Makes significant input to employment decisions
- Makes daily rounds to monitor key metrics and analyze information to solve ongoing problems and improve team performance
- Serves in various clinical nursing roles (i.e., direct care nurse, charge nurse, etc.)
Requirements
- At least 2 years clinical experience required
- Leadership experience preferred
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Registered Nurse-1N-RN
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support-2R-ACLS
- Basic Life Support-2R-BLS
- Pediatric Assessment, Communication and Escalation Skills-2R-PACES
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support-2R-PALS
Skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Experience in clinical nursing roles
