Varsity Head Boys Volleyball Coach (Non-teaching) - EHS

Under the direction of the Site Principal and Athletic Director, this seasonal, part-time position is responsible for the overall administration of all aspects of a comprehensive high school boys volleyball program at Elsinore High School.

About the role

The primary focus will be mentorship, recruitment, administration, and coordination of the volleyball program with the total development of the student-athlete as the highest priority. The Head Coach will:

• Identify, recruit, and coach student-athletes
• Develop practice plans and competition schedules
• Manage the operating budget
• Oversee student-athlete academics and program compliance
• Supervise assistant coaches and other support personnel

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the varsity boys volleyball program
• Ensure compliance with CIF rules and regulations
• Maintain effective oral and written communication with athletes, staff, and administration
• Demonstrate strong organizational and leadership skills

Requirements

• Minimum two (2) years of successful, recent experience at the varsity level in volleyball (within the last five years)
• Experience working directly with collegiate and/or public school districts is highly desirable
• Bachelor’s degree desired; Master’s degree desirable
• Experience as a certificated staff member desirable
• Working knowledge of CIF rules and regulations

Pay

Single rate stipend of $4,167.90 for the 2026-2027 volleyball season.

This is a non-teaching, non-bargaining agreement position hired in accordance with Ed Code 44919 (b).
