Varsity Assistant Wrestling Coach (November 3, 2026 - February 26, 2027)

About the role

Trinity School seeks a part‑time Varsity Assistant Wrestling Coach for the 2026‑2027 Winter season. The position is seasonal and stipended, running from November 3, 2026 through February 26, 2027, with additional planning and communication required outside of the competitive season. The season includes a Thanksgiving break and several other holidays.

Responsibilities

• Attend all practices and matches.
• Teach wrestling concepts at intermediate to advanced levels.
• Manage relationships with athletes, coaches, and parents.
• Uphold team values such as positive sportsmanship, character, compassion, and integrity.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills.

Requirements

• Significant experience participating in and/or coaching competitive wrestling.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Collegiate wrestling experience is a plus.

Pay

Rate of Pay: $5,750.00 for the indoor season (November 3, 2026 – February 26, 2027).

Schedule

• Practices occur on weekdays, with times varying between 3:30 PM and 5:30 PM.
• Approximately 16‑20 meets during the season; some may extend beyond 6:30 PM.
• There may be a few Saturday meets.
• Season runs from November 3, 2026 through February 26, 2027, including a Thanksgiving break and other holidays.
