Responsibilities
- Operates the assigned program within the philosophy of the school corporation and the varsity coach.
- Responsible for all squad members from reporting time until departure from school grounds.
- Available to attend all functions by 3:05 p.m. (practice, locker room supervision, and games).
- Oversee individual and team conditioning workouts.
- Follow all guidelines and policies set forth by the school and the IHSAA.
- Perform other duties as deemed necessary by the coach and administration.
Reports to: Athletic Director and Building Principal.
Qualifications
- Must be a good role model for players (punctual, prepared, sportsmanship, etc.).
- Preferred candidate would have played high school baseball and preferably some college baseball.
- Preferred candidate will have general knowledge of pitching, hitting, and fielding with an expertise in one of the three categories—preferably pitching.
- Preferred candidate will have the ability to instruct and discipline high school students.
- Preferred candidate will have previous high school coaching experience.
Pay
Based on Extra-Curricular Pay Schedule.
