Part-time position (7 hours per day) across various sites in the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District.

About the Role

This is a part-time Special Education (SPED) Intervention Assistant role supporting students in the district. The position is benefit-eligible.

Schedule

• 9.5 months per year (school year calendar)
• 5 days per week, 7 hours per day
• Flexible shift hours between Monday–Friday, 6:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (includes bus run)
• 204 paid work days (1001-hour work calendar available at www.pylusd.org)

Pay

Hourly pay range: $24.30 – $29.62.

Requirements

• Open to PYLUSD permanent employees, substitutes, and external applicants
• Must meet one of the following:
  • Completion of 48 units of college coursework
  • AA degree or higher
  • Passage of Instructional Aide Test (ESSA)
• Copy of transcript (degree or unofficial showing 48+ units) or ESSA test results required
• Current resume
• At least two references on application
• Selected candidates must complete DOJ/FBI LiveScan background check
