Requirements

• Completion of 48 college units, or an AA degree or higher, or passage of the Instructional Aide Test (ESSA).
• Testing available through Human Resources; must be obtained before applying.
• Provide a copy of transcript (degree or unofficial) showing at least 48 college units, or take the ESSA test prior to application.
• Current resume required.
• At least two references must be provided on the application.
• Open to PYLUSD permanent employees, substitutes, and external applicants.
• Interviews begin with permanent applicants qualified for an interview.

Pay

Salary range: $24.30 – $29.62 per hour.

Schedule

Part‑time position: 7 hours per day, 5 days per week, 9.5 months per year (approximately 204 work days). Flexible shift hours Monday–Friday 6:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m., includes bus runs.
