About the Role

Special Education (SPED) Intervention Assistant position at Venture Academy, Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District. This is a part-time role working 7 hours per day, 5 days per week, for 9.5 months per year (204 paid days).

Schedule

• 9.5 months per year (204 paid days)
• 5 days per week, 7 hours per day
• Flexible shift hours between Monday-Friday, 6:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (includes bus run)

Pay

Hourly pay range: $24.30 - $29.62 (Range 24).

Responsibilities

Duties include providing intervention support to students with special education needs as part of the Venture Academy program.

Requirements

• Must meet one of the following:
  • Completion of 48 units of college coursework,
  • AA degree or higher, or
  • Passage of Instructional Aide Testing (ESSA).
• Copy of transcript (degree or unofficial transcript showing completion of 48 college units) or proof of ESSA test passage required.
• Current resume required.
• At least two references must be provided on the application.
• Selected candidates must complete a DOJ/FBI LiveScan.
