Varicent Developer

Contract or full-time hybrid/onsite role requiring three days per week in the office.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and optimize Varicent ICM solutions for incentive compensation management.
• Design and implement data models, calculations, and business rules using Varicent Composer and Reports.
• Build and maintain ETL processes and data integrations (SQL Server/Oracle).
• Create and troubleshoot reports, analytics, and workflow configurations.
• Manage scheduler/job processes and automate tasks with Python scripting.
• Support production compensation processing, including data validation, calculation accuracy, and timely delivery.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum environments to deliver enterprise-level business solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to data, calculations, and reporting.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Varicent ICM development and configuration experience.
• 5+ years of technical design experience supporting enterprise applications and business solutions.
• 5+ years of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience.
• 5+ years of SQL (Oracle/SQL Server) and data management, reporting, or query tools.
• Hands-on experience with data imports, integrations, compensation calculations, reporting, workflow configuration, and scheduler/job management.
• Experience supporting Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) solutions and production compensation processing.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for data, calculations, and reporting processes.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (preferred) and Python scripting for automation.
