Transdev Business Solutions Team is a diverse cross-functional team of IT and transit operational professionals. The team designs, develops, implements, supports, and optimizes the commercial and proprietary business technology solutions for Transdev operations. Focused on innovation and customer service, we support the platforms and users that drive continued improvement in Transdev’s operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop, support, and maintain .Net Windows/web applications with VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript with MS SQL and Oracle backends.
- Write clean, scalable code using .NET Core programming languages, focusing on VB.NET/JavaScript web development in Visual Studio.
- Develop technical interfaces, specifications, and architecture.
- Integrate web mapping with Google Maps in Visual Studio via .NET 3.x+ and JavaScript/API.
- Develop and implement web services in IIS (SOAP, REST).
- Demonstrate coachability, openness to constructive feedback with a strong desire to implement and sustain improvements.
- Show curiosity—actively seek information about our business, services, and customer base.
- Support critical duties that must continue during crisis situations and contingency operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent direct job experience.
- 3 years of current software development experience in .Net (utilizing .Net 4.8 and earlier).
- Visual Studio Windows (forms/services) and web development with VB.NET/C#.
- Strong knowledge of MS SQL environment (MS SSRS/SSIS a plus).
- Experience with Windows Server and OS virtualization platforms.
- Knowledge of Windows Active Directory and SSO concepts.
- Solid grasp of Client/Server fundamentals, Browser/Server interaction, and IIS.
- Experience consuming web services (SOAP, REST) and processing JSON/XML results via VB.NET/C#.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency with MS tools (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams, DevOps, Git, etc.).
- Good knowledge of various data structures and optimization techniques.
- Experience with database engines such as MS SQL Server 2016+, MySQL, Oracle.
- Experience building .NET web applications with Google Maps for real-time and/or historical analysis.

Pay
Salary Range: $102,000-$127,000
Schedule
- Remote (U.S.) position
- Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
