Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain transportation vehicles with a focus on safety and customer courtesy
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Perform minor maintenance tasks on the vehicles when necessary
- Fuel the vehicles
- Ensure that periodic scheduled vehicle maintenance is completed and reported
- Prepare accident and incident reports as necessary
- Assist passengers in and out of the vehicle
- Answer multi-line telephone, receive and deliver telephone messages
- Greet visitors
- Transport patients to dialysis
- Sort incoming mail and distribute throughout office
- Screen visitors at the front door; take temperatures
- Prepare weekly FedEx packages, schedule FedEx ground pickups and certified mail requests
- Order shipping and mailing supplies
- Sort accounts payable checks, fold and insert checks and run through postage meter
- Maintain neat appearance and dress appropriately to provide a positive image for the management office
- Complete other tasks/duties as may be assigned by the Administrator
- Provide other services as requested by management when not engaged in transportation service
Requirements
- Licensed CNA
- Ability to drive a multi-passenger vehicle safely and appropriately, including ability to read and interpret road signs in English
- Ability to recognize vehicle maintenance needs
- Ability to perform minor vehicle repairs
- Skilled in reasoning skills to interpret policies and procedures, maps, and route directions
- Ability to administer First Aid and CPR
- Must be on call and open to working part time
- Must be a minimum of 25 years of age
- Possess and maintain a safe driving record
Schedule
Tuesday to Thursday, 10am to 6pm
