Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain transportation vehicles with a focus on safety and customer courtesy
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks on the vehicles when necessary
  • Fuel the vehicles
  • Ensure that periodic scheduled vehicle maintenance is completed and reported
  • Prepare accident and incident reports as necessary
  • Assist passengers in and out of the vehicle
  • Answer multi-line telephone, receive and deliver telephone messages
  • Greet visitors
  • Transport patients to dialysis
  • Sort incoming mail and distribute throughout office
  • Screen visitors at the front door; take temperatures
  • Prepare weekly FedEx packages, schedule FedEx ground pickups and certified mail requests
  • Order shipping and mailing supplies
  • Sort accounts payable checks, fold and insert checks and run through postage meter
  • Maintain neat appearance and dress appropriately to provide a positive image for the management office
  • Complete other tasks/duties as may be assigned by the Administrator
  • Provide other services as requested by management when not engaged in transportation service

Requirements

  • Licensed CNA
  • Ability to drive a multi-passenger vehicle safely and appropriately, including ability to read and interpret road signs in English
  • Ability to recognize vehicle maintenance needs
  • Ability to perform minor vehicle repairs
  • Skilled in reasoning skills to interpret policies and procedures, maps, and route directions
  • Ability to administer First Aid and CPR
  • Must be on call and open to working part time
  • Must be a minimum of 25 years of age
  • Possess and maintain a safe driving record

Schedule

Tuesday to Thursday, 10am to 6pm
