About the role
We are Regency Care of Central Oregon, a skilled nursing community centrally located in beautiful Bend, OR. We are looking for caring and compassionate individuals to join our team as a Van Driver, ensuring safe and timely transportation of residents to appointments and activities.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety of each passenger, assisting with wheelchair locking and seatbelt fastening
- Inspect vehicle wear items daily, maintain license tags, inspection, and trip logs
- Clean vehicle interior and exterior regularly
- Obey driving laws and ensure appointment timeliness
Requirements
- Timely and dependable
- Display cleanliness and a well-groomed personal appearance, representing the facility in a professional manner
- Read, write, speak, and understand English
- Possess a driver's license in good standing and the ability to obtain a CDL as required (based on size of vehicle)
- One year of experience working with older adults (typical for candidates)
