About the CPRC Program

CPRC is a case management-focused program that provides individuals with support to live an independent life in the community. Through a variety of multidisciplinary services that clients can choose from—including medication management, therapy, group therapy, health and wellness support, employment services, and transportation support—clients can develop skills, access resources, and learn ways to manage their emotional and physical health.

Responsibilities

  • Transport ReDiscover clients comfortably in a ReDiscover-owned van in a timely manner.
  • Provide a welcoming atmosphere that is free of distractions.
  • Show sensitivity to and appreciation of issues related to age, religion, ethnicity, race, socio-economic status, sexual orientation, and gender, and demonstrate respectful and appropriate language and non-verbal behavior.
  • Actively seek to resolve issues, problems, and concerns while also accepting and responding appropriately to feedback from clients, staff, supervisors, and referral sources.
  • May perform agency courier duties.
  • Conduct vehicle safety checks and light maintenance on ReDiscover-owned vehicles, which may include, but is not limited to, routinely checking fluid levels, filling the fuel tank as necessary, and other maintenance-related tasks.
  • Record vehicle mileage for program tracking purposes.
  • Work with ReDiscover staff to provide clerical assistance in an effort to help the program in a cost-effective manner.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Must maintain a valid chauffeur’s Class E driver’s license.
  • Ability to work with all persons with multiple challenges (mental illness, substance abuse, physical challenges, developmental disabilities, etc.).
  • Some mechanical aptitude is needed.
  • Knowledge of streets and highways in Jackson County is desirable.

Schedule

Ability to work 40 hours in a business week. Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM.
