Van Driver

About the role

JYL Transportation, Inc. is seeking Full-Time Non-Emergency Van Drivers to support the transportation needs of special needs children and adults. As a Driver, you will play a crucial role in the JYL team, ensuring that clients are transported safely and comfortably.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a motor vehicle, adhering to all State and Federal traffic laws.
• Safely operate various vehicles, including sedans, mini-vans, full-size passenger vans, and wheelchair vans.
• Safely assist passengers as needed, assisting with entry and exit, securing lap and shoulder belts, and securing them in car seats and booster seats.
• Communicate effectively and clearly with special needs children, adults, parents, program staff, and the elderly.

Requirements

• Must be 19 years of age or older.
• Have 3 or more years of consecutive driving experience.
• Possess an active Driver’s License with a safe driving record.
• Enjoy working with children and the elderly, and demonstrate patience and empathy.

What We Offer

• Training Rate of $20/hr and Driver Rate of $24.41/hr.

Pay
