Responsibilities
- Safely transport residents to and from appointments, hospital visits, community outings, and scheduled activities
- Aid residents with boarding and exiting the vehicle safely, including wheelchair or mobility aid support as needed
- Ensure vehicle cleanliness, safety checks, and routine maintenance reporting
- Maintain transportation logs, schedules, and documentation accurately
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff, families, and appointment coordinators
- Provide friendly, respectful, and compassionate service to all residents
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required
- CDL preferred but not required
- Previous transportation, van driving, or healthcare experience preferred
- Ability to safely assist elderly or disabled residents
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible schedule
