Safely transport residents to medical appointments, outings, and special events
- Avoid residents during transport and report concerns to nursing staff
- Complete incident reports and communicate with supervisors as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning vehicle (fuel, fluids, basic supplies)
- Cookout vehicle maintenance and service needs
- Communicate daily with nursing and facility teams
Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Valid Driver’s License with Class D – Chauffeur Endorsement
- No more than 2 traffic violations within the last 3 years
- No previous driving while under the influence convictions
- CPR and first aide certification or willingness to accomplish
