Value Stream Supervisor - 3rd Shift

Responsibilities

• Drive key business objectives and hire, train, and develop direct reports in all value streams in the plant.
• Support the team in achieving yearly Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity targets through effective Daily Management and execution of KPI action plans.
• Effectively and efficiently problem solve using the formalized Danaher Problem Solving Process (PSP).
• Build a winning team by recruiting, hiring, training and developing direct reports, including recommendations for direct labor staffing in accordance with capacity models for current and future business need.
• Manage associate performance including timecard review and approval, overtime reduction, improvement in employee engagement, cross‑training plan development and execution, and administering annual performance reviews.
• Promote and support the utilization of Danaher Business System (DBS) tools and lean concepts to improve manufacturability, productivity, yield, cost, process variation and customer quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or several years of experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment
• Previous leadership experience

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, Toyota Production System, and/or DBS tools to drive process improvement (preferred)
