About the Position
- To provide a professional level of care to all special projects
- Coinciding projects with clients, operations, and clerical team
- Developing rates for larger projects up to a predetermined threshold
- Providing weekly status updates on ongoing projects to management
- Proactively identifying and communicating areas of opportunity such as rework, damage processing, returns processing, relabeling, account reset, etc.
- Sets up work areas for projects
- Ensures all supplies etc. are prepped and ready in advance
- Works with customer service to ensure the product involved in the rework is tracked timely and accurately throughout the project
- Works with operations management to arrange manpower
- Sets up work methods for projects and ensures team members perform accordingly
- Sets productivity expectations and monitors status
- Conducts quality audits
- Reports results to operations management
- Ensures work areas are clean and organized at all times
- Works with operations management to ensure projects are accurately and completely billed
- Fills out returns inbound tally sheet
- Separates damage from good product
- Inspects product
- Always works in a “lead by example” manner
- Performs small projects independently
- Works as part of the team on larger projects
About the Requirements
- Knowledge of standard inventory control procedures for the industry, shipping and receiving procedures
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good computer skills specifically with Excel, Word and Email
- High school education or equivalency, higher education preferred
- Regular manual labor including lifting, placing, packing and numerous repetitive tasks depending on the project
Pay
Hourly Rate: $22.00
