About the role
Lead the global asset valuations function, overseeing processes across multiple asset classes with a focus on private investments. Manage a high-performing team responsible for fair valuation, reporting, IBOR/PBOR price validation, and NAV oversight. Partner closely with investment teams, auditors, pricing vendors, and technology partners to deliver a robust, controlled and scalable valuation framework.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Valuations analysts.
- Oversee asset pricing activities across IBOR, PBOR, and NAV functions.
- Execute valuation oversight and price verification, including developing and reviewing fair value models.
- Conduct detailed valuation work for private credit and private equity, including market comparables, financial statement analysis, and model documentation.
- Present valuation matters to regional pricing committees and fund boards.
- Support valuation work for annual and interim audits.
- Collaborate with Operations Leadership to enhance the operating model and drive process improvements.
- Work closely with portfolio management, technology, compliance, legal, and risk teams to implement robust valuation procedures.
- Lead operational projects related to new processes, system enhancements, and control improvements.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards; represent the Valuations function in audits and regulatory reviews.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, serving as a key escalation point.
- Own and maintain the global valuation policy, ensuring consistent application across asset classes.
- Lead the valuation governance framework, including independent challenge processes and committee engagement.
- Oversee third-party valuation agents, conducting methodology reviews and due diligence.
- Develop and enhance cashflow-based valuation models for private credit, including scenario and stress analyses.
- Support valuation methodology design for new product launches, including private credit vehicles and global fund structures.
- Lead valuation technology and data-governance initiatives to improve automation, controls, and data integrity.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
Must have skills:
- Deep Valuation Expertise: Strong technical valuation background with significant experience in private credit and other private investments; ability to review financial statements, cap tables, and company performance drivers.
- Leadership: Demonstrated success managing and developing teams in an asset management or financial services environment.
- Operational Excellence: Strong understanding of operational risk frameworks and regulatory requirements.
- Process Improvement: Ability to identify, design, and implement process enhancements.
- Stakeholder Management: Skilled at building and maintaining productive relationships across business areas and with external partners.
- Client & Team Focus: Commitment to collaboration and delivering exceptional service.

Compensation information
The base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $150,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. This position will be open through June 15, 2026.
