Valora Orono - Culinary Assistant/Server

About the role

Valora Orono, a new Lifespark Senior Living Community, is seeking a Culinary Assistant/Server to join their growing team. Located in the picturesque Orono community, just minutes from downtown Wayzata, Lake Minnetonka, and Long Lake, Valora Orono offers Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care services.

Responsibilities

• Set up room trays and tables in the dining room
• Serve and bus trays
• Pour and cover beverages
• Auxiliary in the preparation and covering of food
• Transport carts to appropriate areas and deliver trays, when applicable
• Deliver nourishments and snacks appropriately
• Maintain a steady work pace to produce an adequate supply of clean kitchen utensils and dishes
• Soak, scrub, scrape, and wash soiled dishes

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a senior living setting preferred
• Ability to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident's families, and employees
• Advanced computer skills

Pay

$15.50 - $20.50 per hour
