About the role
The Culinary Assistant is responsible for preparing and serving meals to residents in an assisted living facility. This role requires excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Prepares and serves meals according to dietary requirements and preferences
- Ensures food safety and cleanliness standards are met
- Collaborates with chefs and nutritionists to develop meal plans
- Assists with inventory management and ordering supplies
- Maintains a clean and organized work area
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in food service or related field preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
