About the role

Valora Orono, a new Lifespark Senior Living Community, is seeking a Caregiver, CNA, or Home Health Aide to join their growing team. The community is located in the picturesque Orono area, close to downtown Wayzata, Lake Minnetonka, and Long Lake.

Position

Position: Caregiver, CNA, Home Health Aide

Hourly Wage

  • HHA: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour, depending on experience
  • CNA: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour, depending on experience

Shift Differential

  • $1 for evenings
  • $2 for overnight shifts

Service Area

2635 Kelley Parkway, Orono, MN 55356

Schedule

  • Option 1: 0.6 FTE AM, 7am-3pm - Week 1: Monday, Wednesday and Friday / Week 2: Monday, Wednesday and Friday
  • Option 2: 0.3 FTE AM, 7am-3pm - Week 1: Sunday and Monday / Week 2: Saturday
  • Option 3: 0.6 FTE PM, 3pm-11pm - Week 1: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday / Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday
  • Option 4: 0.2 FTE PM, 3pm-11pm - Week 1: every other Saturday and Sunday
  • Option 5: 0.7 FTE PM, 3pm-11pm - Week 1: Wednesday and Friday / Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday

Position Duties & Responsibilities

In this role, you will provide support to residents with personal care services, including:

  • Providing direct care to residents, recognizing individual needs, encouraging independence, and treating each resident with respect and dignity.
  • Aiding residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transferring, mobility, and other personal care needs as outlined on the plan of care.
  • Engaging residents in meaningful conversations and providing attentive care.
  • Assisting with medication administration.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in an assisted living community is preferred.
  • Strong interest in healthcare.
  • Positive, compassionate attitude.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
