Valet Technician

About the role

The Valet Ski Technician (Valet Tech) at Black Tie Ski Rentals is responsible for providing exceptional customer service at the slopeside ski valet at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. This position involves fitting customers with ski/snowboard equipment, supporting delivery operations, collecting equipment, inspecting returned equipment, maintaining product knowledge, conducting equipment testing, and acting as a brand ambassador for Black Tie.

Responsibilities

• Select and prepare equipment for customers
• Support delivery operations and collect equipment from guests
• Fit customers with ski/snowboard equipment at the slopeside valet
• Provide clear communication about Black Tie services and equipment
• Inspect equipment upon return to determine tuning needs
• Conduct routine testing of equipment
• Act as a respectful and professional representative of Black Tie
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Ski Valet
• Manage vehicle inventory
• Proactively address guest needs and requests
• Communicate effectively with Manager on Duty and the Office
• Demonstrate a clear focus on safety for yourself, co-workers, and guests

Requirements

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly for long periods
• Able to stand and walk almost continually during shifts
• Flexible to work weekends and holidays throughout the winter season
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Pay

• $20 - $25 per hour
