About the role
We are seeking an experienced, customer service focused valet supervisor at The Cherokee Hotel at Harrah's in Cherokee, NC. We provide a first class valet parking and seek friendly, outgoing individuals with a desire to create a guest experience that exceeds all expectations.
Responsibilities
- Guide the team's interactions with guests and fellow employees by being a positive role model.
- Provide oversight to operation through demonstrated competence in guest services, parking strategy and proper reporting.
- Ensure team has tools needed to perform respective duties, share communications through pass along logs, etc.
- Work collaboratively with the valet team ensure prompt service for every guest.
- Train and develop staff as needed to ensure top-level service and hospitality.
- Ensure that appropriate service recovery measures are followed to ensure guest satisfaction with our services and associates.
- Perform ancillary duties as directed.
- Maintain professional appearance of yourself, your team and work area while on duty.
- Give constructive feedback to employees when needed.
- Lead by example in attitude, attendance, punctuality and willingness to do whatever it takes to make the team successful.
- Be able to multi-task and prioritize duties.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED
- Six months leadership experience preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license required
Qualifications
- Candidate must submit to and pass a pre-employment drug screen - oral
- Candidate must submit and pass a gaming Work Permit Application
- Candidate must be at least 21 years of age
