About the role

The Valet Parking Attendant (Morning) role at Reimagined Parking involves coordinating valet service, safely parking and retrieving vehicles, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate valet service from arrival to departure, including greeting guests, retrieving keys, issuing tickets, and entering customer information.
• Park and retrieve vehicles safely and efficiently, inspecting for pre-existing damage and documenting findings.
• Provide exceptional customer service by building rapport, responding promptly to inquiries, and offering directions or assistance.
• Maintain vehicle safety and security by directing traffic, positioning barricades, monitoring ramp or drive areas, and arranging towing services.
• Operate guest vehicles, collect applicable fees, reconcile end-of-shift revenue, and assist with luggage or personal items.
• Report incidents, accidents, or claims to the Operations Manager or Shift Lead immediately.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• Valid driver's license with good driving record
• Pass a background check
• Able to work in the United States and provide documentation of eligibility

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to learn quickly and make sound decisions
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
• Previous valet experience preferred

Physical Demands

• Operate guest vehicles requiring normal coordination
• Move from valet stand to customer cars by walking or running for extended periods
• Occasionally lift and carry customer luggage or personal items, up to 50 lbs

Working Conditions

• Work in parking facilities including garages, lots, booths, and outdoor areas
• Exposure to varying weather conditions such as heat, cold, rain, wind, and snow
• Fast-paced environment requiring consistent customer interaction
• Exposure to vehicle traffic, noise, and varying weather conditions
• Interaction with upset or frustrated customers while maintaining professionalism
