Responsibilities

  • Performs internal spotlights and training on customer service initiatives.
  • Manages the valet parking spaces.
  • Ensures the security of all guests’ vehicles while they are valet parked.
  • Sets performance standards for staff.
  • Schedules staff and ensures adequate staffing on event dates.
  • Ensures adherence to company, property, and departmental rules and regulations.
  • Maintains and properly handles valet receipts, records, shift logs, and employee records jackets.
  • Maintains proper maintenance of paperwork such as tip sheets, pass on books, and time clock sheets.
  • Trains new and veteran staff members and ensures completion of company mandated training.
  • Provides fair and consistent supervision.
  • Carry out performance appraisals and reward or discipline Team Members as required.
  • Train Team Leaders in providing fair and consistent supervision and guest relations in the event of the supervisor’s absence.
  • Ensure compliance with posted traffic signs and rules.

Qualifications

  • Able to present a valid Louisiana driver’s license record with no moving violations or traffic citations in the past five (5) years.
  • Able to obtain Responsible Vendor Certification.
  • Able to drive all types of passenger vehicles with automatic or manual transmissions.
  • One (1) year supervisory experience in hospitality or service industry.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, leadership skills, and motivational skills.
  • Able to work any day of the week and any shift.
  • Able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
  • Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Able to run on a level surface and in extreme temperatures.
  • Able to run for extended periods on all types of surfaces, as well as up and down stairs.
  • Able to drive all types of passenger vehicles with automatic or manual transmissions in a safe fashion.
  • Able to respond to visual and aural cues.
  • Able to present a well-groomed appearance.
  • Able to work and quickly maneuver inside and outside, sometimes in temperatures in excess of 115 degrees and as cold as 10 degrees.
