Valet Attendant/Bell Person

As a Valet Attendant/Bell Person, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive first impression for our guests by providing exceptional service and assistance with their luggage. Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and departure in a professional and friendly manner; assist guests with luggage ensuring prompt and efficient service.
• Provide information about Hotel and Casino amenities, services, and promotions.
• Safely transport guests’ luggage to and from their rooms while maintaining the security and confidentiality of the belongings.
• Communicate effectively with other Hotel and Casino staff to coordinate guest services.
• Anticipate and respond to guests’ needs promptly to ensure an enjoyable experience during their stay.
• Adhere to all security and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Effective written and verbal communication skills are essential as majority of work time is spent interacting with hotel guests and staff.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of the local area and attractions is a plus.
• Minimum age requirement is 21.
• Previous experience as a Bell Person or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
• Basic math skills.
• Must be able to speak and understand English.
• Ability to move throughout the hotel (standing, walking, kneeling, and bending) for extended periods of time; ability to sit for extended periods of time; ability to express or exchange ideas verbally and perceive sound by ear; ability to regularly move objects (lift, push, pull, balance, carry) up to 50 pounds; constantly walking up to distances of 500 ft. during shift; frequently stooping, reaching.
• Work performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment; occasional hot and cold temperature changes; regularly exposed to a smoke-filled environment; work with others in close spaces; moderate to high noise levels; walk/stand on tile/mats/carpet/cement.

Pay

Pay Range: USD $12.00 - USD $12.00 /Hr. This is a tipped position; the position earns tips.
