Valet Attendant ($15/hr + tips) - Rock Row Health Campus

Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location. The hourly base pay range for this position is $15 per hour plus tips (average $25-$40 per shift).

Work Schedule

The work schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 7am-5pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Valid driver’s license for the state you are applying to work, or within a commutable distance from the state you are applying to work (as applicable)

Essential Functions

• Maintains pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
• Uses guest last names during interactions
• Posts up in designated areas when not completing tasks
• Parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
• Assists guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
• Opens all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
• Assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
• Provides guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms and/or amenities of the facility as well as main attractions in the area
• Delivers messages, items and/or guest amenities as requested
• Shuttles guests to appropriate places that are approved by the location
• Explains parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
• Issues claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collects claim checks from all guests prior to issuing keys
• Consistently completes and maintains all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, location of vehicle, damage survey and claim check receipt from all vehicles taken into the valet system
• Consistently completes location on all key tags after parking vehicle
• Calculates and collects revenue for vehicles when needed

• Regularly required to talk or hear
• Frequently required to sit or stand for extended periods of time and may be required to run; walk; handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
• Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
• Lifting requirements: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
• Working environment: Majority of work will be performed outdoors for extended periods of time including up to the entire duration of shift. Employees are subject to environmental conditions including extreme heat and cold weather. Protection from weather conditions may be provided, but not necessarily from temperature changes.

Travel

Travel of up to 5% may be required.
