About the role

As a lead installer and/or supervising electrician, you are responsible for the assembly of the electrotechnical installations within projects. You coordinate the work, supervise activities, lead your own team of installers, and act as the central figure in your projects. You regularly consult with other construction partners, monitor the schedule, and communicate progress with your direct project leader.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Completed MBO (vocational) education in electrical engineering
  • At least 5 years of experience in installation technology, with a minimum of 3 years in a comparable leadership role
  • Proven experience in leading projects
  • Driver’s license B
  • VCA basic safety certification

Slagboom Vlaardingen Elektrotechniek is a healthy, independent family business with an annual turnover of over 7 million euros. Our more than 60 enthusiastic employees serve valued clients across all electrotechnical areas, including smart (LED) lighting, fire and evacuation systems, burglar alarms, data and telephony, camera systems, video door entry and intercom systems, sound systems, and solar panel installations. We handle everything from start to finish.

We are active daily in numerous new construction and renovation projects, including schools, office and commercial buildings, hotels, shops, hospitality venues, and healthcare institutions. We are also a strong and experienced player in residential renovations and transformation projects, such as converting existing buildings into housing. Additionally, our service department consists of over 20 all-round service technicians who handle regular maintenance, repairs, and breakdowns. Our service team is available 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.
