About the role
A Vacation Specialist will be responsible for managing employee vacation requests, ensuring compliance with company policies, and providing guidance to employees regarding their vacation entitlements.
Responsibilities
- Manage and process vacation requests from employees
- Ensure all requests are compliant with company policies and regulations
- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding their vacation entitlements
- Collaborate with HR and management teams to resolve any issues related to vacation requests
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of all vacation requests and balances
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience with vacation management software is a plus
Skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of federal and state labor laws related to vacation accrual and usage
