About the role

A Vacation Specialist will be responsible for managing employee vacation requests, ensuring compliance with company policies, and providing guidance to employees regarding their vacation entitlements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and process vacation requests from employees
  • Ensure all requests are compliant with company policies and regulations
  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding their vacation entitlements
  • Collaborate with HR and management teams to resolve any issues related to vacation requests
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of all vacation requests and balances

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience with vacation management software is a plus

Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge of federal and state labor laws related to vacation accrual and usage
