About the role
The primary responsibility of the Vacation Planning Coordinator is to manage employee vacation requests, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. This includes processing requests, coordinating with departments, and communicating with employees regarding their vacation schedules.Responsibilities
- Manage employee vacation requests and ensure timely processing.
- Collaborate with departments to coordinate vacation schedules and minimize conflicts.
- Communicate with employees regarding their vacation schedules and answer any questions they may have.
- Ensure all vacation requests are in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Handle escalated issues related to vacation requests.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar administrative role, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for managing calendars and tracking data.
Qualifications
- Experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of vacation management software is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
