Vacation Planning Specialist

This role operates within a Manila-based full-service travel agency, specializing in vacation planning for domestic and international destinations, trip types, activities, optional tours, and visa assistance.

About the Role

The Vacation Planning Specialist ensures travel planning and service remain usable under the specific demands of a full-service travel agency. The role focuses on maintaining clear separation between confirmed facts, pending dependencies, and exceptions while executing vacation planning tasks. Work must be traceable, unresolved items must have owners, and repeated errors must be surfaced before they lead to downstream rework.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vacation planning specialization with supplier coordination, ensuring each checkpoint includes a visible source, owner, status, and next action.
• Reconcile role documentation with status tracking for vacation planning, adhering to a vacation-focused, planning-focused, and specialized-execution work profile.
• Coordinate reservation systems with deadline management, ensuring workflows are secure, traceable, and ready for the next authorized teammate.
• Review documentation and generate reports to maintain clarity and compliance in vacation planning processes.
• Implement quality control and workflow management to ensure accuracy and process adherence.
• Apply data accuracy without losing track of evidence or deadlines in the vacation planning workflow.
• Document process compliance and escalate issues with clear reasoning in the context of the agency’s operations.
• Exercise judgment in follow-ups, especially when vacation planning depends on external confirmations rather than assumptions.

Requirements

• Confidence in using Gladex Travel and Tours Corp workflows and travel planning systems.
• Ability to apply vacation-focused, planning-focused, and specialized-execution principles in a full-service travel agency setting.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring work remains traceable and unresolved items are assigned owners.
• Experience in coordinating reservation systems and managing deadlines in a remote work environment.

Pay

Base salary: $42,000–$65,000 per year.

Schedule

Full-time, 100% remote within the United States.
