About the role
A postdoctoral position is available to make a leading contribution to a project aiming to create a machine learning system for EEG based predictors of central neuropathic pain in people with subacute spinal cord injury working with Dr Aleksandra Vuckovic at the Rehabilitation Engineering group and in collaboration with the Queen Elizabeth National Spinal Injuries Unit, Glasgow.
Requirements
- Expert knowledge in machine learning
- Expert knowledge in EEG analysis
- Advanced programming skills
- Practical experience with using EEG equipment (desirable but not essential)
- Familiarity with the standard for medical software design ISO 62304 (desirable)
- Good communication skills (required)
