Job Summary

Mandala Theatre-Nepal is seeking various personnel for a pilot project aimed at enhancing health awareness and social inclusion among marginalized groups in Nepal. The project utilizes the mobile theatre bus, Junkiri, to reach underserved communities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to increase health awareness and social inclusion
• Engage with local stakeholders to foster community action and celebrate marginalized groups' successes
• Utilize the mobile theatre bus, Junkiri, for street theatre performances and interactive games
• Collaborate with local actors and actresses to deliver performances that promote health and social inclusion
• Train and mentor local actors and actresses in delivering effective performances
• Design and facilitate interactive games to enhance audience engagement and understanding
• Work closely with inclusion consultants to ensure all groups are represented and included

Requirements

• Strong commitment to social justice and community development
• Experience in health education and social inclusion initiatives
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in using video editing software
• Knowledge of local languages and cultures
• Experience working with marginalized groups

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts, Communications, Public Health, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
• Fluency in English and Nepali

Pay

The salary for each position is negotiable.

Schedule

The positions will start on September 15, 2025, and the contract will end on March 15, 2026.
