About The Role

We are seeking an experienced UX / Web Designer to join our dynamic team on a contract, project-based basis. This role involves developing strategic and visually compelling websites tailored for B2B audiences, including creating sitemaps, wireframes, content strategies, and overall visual design concepts. While this position does not involve coding, a solid understanding of website development processes, HTML/CSS, and CMS platforms such as WordPress is essential for effective communication with our development team. The role is fully remote, offering flexibility to work from anywhere within the United States, and requires a proactive, self-motivated individual capable of managing multiple projects efficiently. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with clients, content creators, developers, and SEO specialists to produce websites that are not only aesthetically appealing but also highly functional and aligned with client business goals.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in web or UX/UI design, preferably within a B2B environment
• 1+ years of experience in a digital agency or client-facing role
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in web design, UI/UX best practices, and visual storytelling
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and InVision
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and CMS systems like WordPress from a user perspective
• Knowledge of SEO principles, accessibility standards, and content strategy
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating design decisions to stakeholders at all levels
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Self-starter with a proactive attitude and a passion for continuous learning and improvement

Responsibilities

• Develop website architecture, including sitemaps and navigation structures, aligned with client goals
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that enhance user experience and engagement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, content strategists, and SEO specialists, to ensure cohesive project execution
• Present design concepts and strategies to clients, gathering feedback and making iterative improvements
• Ensure all deliverables adhere to best practices, brand standards, and project timelines
• Assist in updating and maintaining existing websites, improving layouts and user interfaces as needed
• Contribute to content strategy and content editing within CMS platforms, primarily WordPress
• Participate in quality assurance processes to verify functionality, accessibility, and performance of websites
• Identify potential risks, provide accurate effort estimates, and communicate project progress effectively
• Support brand and collateral design work when required, leveraging graphic design experience
• Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements and skill development in web design and UX
